How are we funded
Most would assume that the basic equipment would be provided by the Ambulance Service. The Community First Responder Scheme only receives operational support and training. ALL of the equipment and running costs are paid for by public donations, grants and support from local companies or associations.
It costs about £2,000 to equip each responder, so any donation large or small can really help to make a difference.

You can help raise funds for us while doing your shopping at no cost to yourself by shopping though Give as you Live, that allows retailers to donate to our charity each time you shop online. There are many retailers like Tesco, John Lewis, Amazon & EBay and even getting a quote for insurance or subscribing to a magazine can bring the group much needed funds. Simply click the 'Give as you Live' link above and start shopping. Once you have completed a one-off registration you will be directed to the site of your choice and deal with them directly in the usual way.
